Terra MineDiver v1: It's Alive! (And Needs Your Feedback!)
Alright friends, Terra MineDiver v1 is officially out in the wild! This is my maiden voyage into the world of published games, so buckle up, because we're all in this together. And by 'together,' I mean 'please tell me everything that's broken.'
Working with Pulp has been... an adventure. A 'learning experience,' if you will. Turns out, the Playdate's speaker has a different opinion on audio levels than the Pulp player. Who knew? To avoid the dreaded distortion, I've dialed everything down to 'polite conversation' volume. Let me know if you need to crank your Playdate to 11 just to hear a pin drop.
Also, Charlie's animation was looking smooth in Pulp, but he might be leaving a trail of pixelated breadcrumbs on the actual device. Classic.
Seriously though, I'm super excited to share this demo with you. I'm planning to be active here, so please, shower me with feedback, bug reports, and general musings. Let's make this game something special! Thanks for diving in!
